Ultrasonic Welding & Lamination
FUSÃO works closely with manufacturers and brands on their projects, advising on technical options, and elaborating unique materials for demanding specifications
TECHNOLOGY
ULTRASONIC WELDING &
CUTTING
For knits, woven or non-woven textiles, ultrasonic welding & cutting are alternative solutions to traditional quilting, bonding, coating, lamination, and standard cutting.
The main advantages of ultrasonic textile welding & cutting are the high standards and quality of precision, but also productivity gains and the elimination of consumable use. Such technology ensures a clean finish without fraying of the textile.
For knits and woven textiles (straps, belts, panels, technical clothing, etc.) and non-woven textiles (nappies, towels, masks, filters, etc.), this technology provides solutions for cutting and intermittent and/or continuous high-speed welding.
FUSÃO’s workshop is equipped with ultrasonic textile welding & cutting machines and uses this technology in various technical assemblies.
FUSÃO offers facilities in Portugal and France.

TECHNOLOGY
LAMINATIONS
PURE DOTS LAMINATION
This technology applies glue on a fabric, foam, or film with a glue dot roller to bond it with another fabric – giving breathability, peeling strength, weight and waterproofness properties for applications such as lingerie, medical, outdoor, sportswear and protection
CALENDER WITH FUSIBLE MATERIALS
This technology uses thermo compression and fusible materials to the fabrics within a wide range of temperatures, enabling to work different items such as EVA, PU, CoPES, CoPA, PE, and can be dedicated mainly for lingerie, shoe wear, furniture, and automotive applications.
